Graduated in Master of Economics from Paris II University and IEP PARIS. I start my Asset Management career in 1979 at Banque de l’Union Européenne (CIC Group) as an analyst, and then moved to London with CSFB in 1986. I co-founded an asset management company with E. de Rothschild in 1990. I developed Bryan Garnier Asset Management between 2011 and 2015 and became a co-founder of AMS.


I completed my MBA at the Wharton Business Schools in 1981 and started my career in the commodities’ world until 2000, I sold my company and started managing private clients and advising Family offices in their asset allocation. In 2004, I developed Bordier & Cie, a Swiss private bank in Paris. After 3 years I returned to Geneva and started V Capital asset management with Bordier & Cie as a partner, aimed to advise high net worth families. Between 2011 and 2015, I developed Bryan Garnier Asset Management and co-founded AMS.


From 1998 to 2003, Matteo spent five years in several departments of Gruppo Banca Sella. He was member of the Board of Directors of Capital Gestion, an investment management company based in Paris and a Director of International Capital Holding in Paris. Matteo also spent several years as Managing Director of Sella Bank Lugano in Geneva. He is a founding partner of AMS.
